UNICAL Change of Course Form for 2018/2019 Is Out

UNICAL Change of Course form is out for 2018/2019 admission. That is to say, University of Calabar (UNICAL) change of course admission form for the 2018/2019 academic session is now on sale. The form is available to candidates that were not given admission on the merit admission list but wish to be considered for other programmes with vacancies.

After the publication of the University of Calabar (UNICAL) merit admission list, the management has released the list of programmes with vacant positions. Therefore, candidates who did not make it to the 2018/2019 academic session merit list may be considered into these courses.

UNICAL Change of Course Available Courses and Slots

1. Science Laboratory Technology 
   UTME SUBJECT COMBINATION
   English Language, Chemistry, Biology and Physics
   O’LEVEL REQUIREMENT
   5 SSCE credits in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Biology and Chemistry.
2. Tourism Studies 
   UTME SUBJECT COMBINATION 
   English Language and any three social science/science/arts subject.
   O’LEVEL REQUIREMENT
   5 SSCE credit passes in English Language, Mathematics and any other arts or social science subjects
3. Home Economics 
   UTME SUBJECT COMBINATION
   English Language and any three of Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Biology.
   O’LEVEL REQUIREMENT
   5 SSCE Credit passes in English, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Biology.

Who’s Qualified To Apply For UNICAL Change of Course?

Candidates seeking admissions into these departments must have;

• Choose the University of Calabar as their first choice
• Sat for the 2018/19 Post UTME
• Obtained five (5) 0’level credits requirements as specified above and with the correct UTME subject combination.

How To Apply For UNICAL Change of Course Admission For 2018/2019 Academic Session

Interested applicants are to pick a CHANGE OF COURSE FORM from Room 13, Academic Division, Old Registry and thereafter proceed to any CBT centre and do a change of course on JAMB portal to any of the aforementioned department.

It should however be noted that changing to any of these Departments doesn’t guarantee automatic admissions. Only candidates who meet the programme requirements would be considered.
