5,991 Out Of 12,200 Candidates Passed OAU Post UTME

Only 5,991 out of 12,200 candidates that sat for the OAU Post UTME passed. The result of Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) 2013/2014 Post UTME screening, which was conducted on the 13th of July, 2013 was released hours after the completion of the test.

Information reaching us now has it that just about half of the candidates (5,991 out of 12,200) that sat for the post UTME screening passed.

According to the Public Relations Officer of the O.A.U, Mr. Abiodun Olarewaju, the result of the post-UTME screening exercise was released less than three hours after the exercise.

He also added that, “Out of 12,200 candidates who participated in the screening exercise, 44 scored 300 marks and above while 5,691 candidates scored 200 marks and above, out of a possible 400.

“Durotoluwa Olanrewaju, who applied to study Chemical Engineering, tops the list after scoring 332 while Soile Adetola, who applied to study Medicine, came second with 327. However, two candidates: Odimayo Moses and Nafiu Oluwadamilare, who both applied to study Electrical and Electronics Engineering, scored 323 each.”

The Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Bamitale Omole, however, commended the intellectual soundness of those who took part in the screening exercise.

We congratulate all successful candidates out of those who sat for the OAU Post UTME. For the unsuccessful ones, just try out your second choice institutions and you might get lucky there.
