General Entry Requirements

Applicants must possess a minimum of four (4) credit passes at not more than two sittings in requisite subjects in GCE ‘O’Level or SSCE of WAEC or SSCE of NECO or NTC of NABTEB.

The four credits passes must be obtained in Mathematics, English Language and any two from the following subjects: Commerce, Economics, Geography, Business Methods, Principles of Accounts, Statistics, Government, History, Biology, Agricultural Science, Chemistry and Physics.

2. HIGHER NATIONAL DIPLOMA PROGRAMMES

1. Two-year Higher National Diploma in Accountancy
2. Two-year Higher National Diploma in Banking and Finance
3. Two-year Higher National Diploma in Business Administration and Management

General Entry Requirements

Applicants must possess appropriate National Diploma in Accountancy, Banking and Finance or Business Administration and Management with a minimum of Lower Credit grade from the Osun State College of Technology, Esa Oke or any recognized Polytechnic of equivalent status with at least one year post-ND industrial work experience.

In addition applicants must also possess minimum of four (4) credits in GCE ‘O’Level or SSCE of WAEC, or SSCE of NECO or NTC of NABTEB obtained at not more than two sittings from English Language, Mathematics and any other two from the following subjects: Economics, Commerce, Business Methods, Principles of Accounts, Statistics, History, Government, Geography, Biology, Agricultural Science, Chemistry and Physics.

Applicants who possess ATS (3) or ICAN foundation stages are qualified to apply for admission into Higher National Diploma in Accountancy. Applicants with Advanced Certificate in either Accountancy or Banking and Finance are also qualified to apply.

General Entry Requirements

Minimum of four (4) credit passes in GCE ‘O’Level or SSCE of WAEC or SSCE of NECO or NTC of NABTEB obtained in Mathematics, and three (3) other relevant subjects as stated below. At least a pass in English Language is compulsory.

i. National Diploma in Building Technology:

In addition to the general entry requirements, three (3) credit passes must be obtained from any of the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Geography, Further Mathematics, Technical Drawing, Woodwork, Metalwork, Building Construction, Bricklaying/Blocklaying/Concreting, Plumbing, Joinery/Carpentry, Walls, floor and ceiling finishing, Economics, Commerce, Agricultural Science, English Language, Biology. Credit pass in Physics is compulsory.

iii. National Diploma in Quantity Surveying:

In addition to the general entry requirements, three (3) credit passes must be obtained from any of the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Economics, Commerce, Technical Drawing, Fine Arts, English Language, Geography, Woodwork, Biology, Agricultural Science, Building Construction and Further Mathematics. Credit pass in Physics is compulsory.

iii. National Diploma in Architectural Technology:

In addition to the general entry requirements, three (3) credit passes must be obtained from any of the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Agricultural Science, Biology, Economics, Commerce, Technical Drawing, English Language, Fine Arts and Business Methods. Credit pass in Physics is compulsory.

iv. National Diploma in Urban and Regional Planning:

In addition to the general entry requirements, applicant must possess credit in Economics or Geography and two (2) credit passes must be obtained from any of the following subjects: Commerce, Fine Arts, Technical Drawing, Statistics, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Agricultural Science, History, Government, English Language, Business Methods, Principles of Accounts, Building Construction, and Woodwork. One of the two (2) subjects must be a basic science.

v. National Diploma in Surveying and Geo-informatics:

In addition to the general entry requirements, applicants must possess three (3) credit passes obtained from any of the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Further Mathematics, Technical Drawing, Fine Arts, Building Construction, Statistics, Geography, Economics, Commerce, Biology, English Language, Agricultural Science, and Basic Surveying. A Credit pass in Physics is compulsory.

vi. National Diploma in Estate Management:

In addition to the general entry requirements, applicants must possess credit pass in Economics and two (2) credit passes from the following which must include One (1) Basic Science subject: Principles of Accounts, Physics, Biology, Agricultural Science, Chemistry, Technical Drawing, Geography and Government, English Language, Woodwork, Metalwork, Block Laying and Concreting.

vii. National Diploma in Photography

In addition to general entry requirements, credit pass in Physics, Chemistry and one (1) other subject from Fine Arts, English Language, Further Mathematics, Technical Drawing, Statistics, Economics, Agricultural Science. .

viii. National Diploma in Arts and Design

In addition to general entry requirements, three (3) credit passes must be obtained from the following: History/Government, Chemistry/Physics, Biology/Agricultural Science, Literature in English, Clothing and Textiles.

Applicants must possess relevant National Diploma in the proposed course as listed above from the Osun State College of Technology, Esa Oke or any recognized Polytechnic of equivalent status plus at least one year post-ND Industrial work experience.

In addition, applicants must satisfy all the requirements for admission into the relevant ND programme of choice in the Faculty of Environmental Studies, Osun State College of Technology, Esa Oke, which should include four (4) credits passes in GCE ‘O’Level or SSCE of WAEC or NECO or NTC of NABTEB obtained at not more than two sittings. At least a pass in English language is compulsory.

i. Higher National Diploma in Building Technology:

Applicants must possess credit passes in Mathematics, Physics plus any two (2) subjects from the following: Chemistry, Geography, Government, Further Mathematics, Technical Drawing, Building Engineering Drawing, Plumbing, Woodwork, Metalwork, Building Construction, Bricklaying/Blocklaying/Concreting, Joinery/Carpentry, Walls, Floors and ceiling finishing, Economics, Commerce, English Language, Agricultural Science, Biology and Basic Electricity.

ii. Higher National Diploma in Quantity Surveying

Applicants must possess credit passes in Mathematics, Physics and any other two (2) subjects from the following: Economics, Commerce, Technical Drawing, Fine Arts, English Language, Chemistry, Geography, Woodwork, Biology, Building Construction, Further Mathematics and Agricultural Science.

iii. Higher National Diploma in Architectural Technology

Applicants must possess credit passes in Mathematics and Physics, plus any two (2) subjects from the following: Biology, Woodwork, Chemistry, Geography, Economics, Commerce, English Language, Technical Drawing, Fine Arts and Business Methods.

iv. Higher National Diploma in Urban and Regional Planning

Applicants must possess credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Economics or Geography and any one (1) from the following Basic Science: Chemistry, Physics, Biology, and Agricultural Science.

v. Higher National Diploma in Surveying and Geo-informatics

Applicants must possess credit passes in Mathematics, Physics and any other two (2) subjects from the following: Further Mathematics, Chemistry, Technical Drawing, English Language, Fine Arts, Statistics, Geography, Economics, Commerce, Biology, Agricultural Science, and Basic Surveying.

iv. Higher National Diploma in Estate Management

Applicants must possess credit passes in Mathematics, Economics and any two (2) credit passes from the following which must include One (1) Science subject: English Language, Geography, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Agricultural Science, Principles of Accounts, Government, Further Mathematics, Technical Drawing, Block Laying and Concreting, Woodwork and Metalwork.

C. FACULTY OF ENGINEERING

1. NATIONAL DIPLOMA PROGRAMMES

1. Two-year National Diploma in Civil Engineering
2. Two-year National Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering

General Entry Requirements

Applicants seeking admission to any of these five (5) above departments must possess minimum of four (4) credit passes in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and any one (1) subject from: Biology, Agricultural Science, Technical Drawing, Basic Electronics, Basic Electricity, Auto Mechanics, Metalwork, Geography, Government, Economics, English Language, Commerce, Further Mathematics, Woodwork, Building Engineering Drawing and Statistics. At least a Pass in English Language is compulsory.

National Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering

Applicants seeking admission must possess minimum of four (4) credit passes in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and any one (1) subject from: Biology, Agricultural Science, Basic Electronics and Basic Electricity. At least a pass in English language.

National Diploma in Civil Engineering

Four O’level credits which must include Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and any one of: English Language, Biology or Agricultural Science. At least a pass in English language.

National Diploma in Mechatronics Technology

Applicants seeking admission must possess a minimum of four {4} credit passes in English Language, Mathematics and any other two credit pass from the following; Electrical Installation and maintenance, Basic Electricity, Physics, Chemistry, Technical Drawing, Motor Vehicle Maintenance and, General Metalwork. At least a Pass in Physics is Compulsory.

2. HIGHER NATIONAL DIPLOMA PROGRAMMES

1. Two-year Higher National Diploma in Civil Engineering
2. Two-year Higher National Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering
   • Electronics and Telecommunication (Option)
   • Power and Machine (Option)
3. Two-year Higher National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

General Entry Requirements

Applicants must possess relevant National Diploma in the proposed course as listed above from the Osun State College of Technology, Esa Oke or any recognized Polytechnic of equivalent status plus at least one-year post-ND Industrial work experience.

The four (4) credit passes must include Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and any other one (1) subject from the following: Biology, Agricultural Science, Technical Drawing, Basic Electronics, Statistics, Basic Electricity, Auto Mechanic, Metalwork, Geography, English Language, Government, Economics, Commerce, Further Mathematics, Welding and Fabrication and Woodwork.

In all cases, applicants must possess at least a Pass in English language.

Higher National Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering

Applicants seeking admission must possess minimum of four (4) credit passes in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and any one (1) subject from: Biology, English Language, Agricultural Science, Basic Electronics and Basic Electricity. At least a pass in English language.

Special consideration

A good National Diploma in Computer Engineering may be considered for admission into Electrical/Electronics Engineering.

Higher National Diploma in Civil Engineering

Four (4) O’level credit which must include Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and any one of: English Language, Biology or Agricultural Science. At least a pass in English language.

D. FACULTY OF PURE AND APPLIED SCIENCES

NATIONAL DIPLOMA PROGRAMMES

1. Two-year National Diploma in Agricultural Technology
2. Two-year National Diploma in Statistics
3. Two-year National Diploma in Science Laboratory Technology

General Entry Requirements

Applicants must possess minimum of four (4) credits in GCE ‘O’Level or SSCE of WAEC or SSCE of NECO or NTC of NABTEB in not more than two (2) sittings. In all cases, each applicant must possess at least a pass in English Language.

i. National Diploma in Agricultural Technology

Applicants must possess credit passes in Mathematics and Physics, and any of two (2) from the following: Biology, Agricultural Science, Chemistry, Technical Drawing, Basic Electronics/Basic Electricity, Auto Mechanics, Metalwork, Food and Nutrition, English Language, Further Mathematics and Geography.

ii. National Diploma in Statistics

Applicants must possess credit passes in Mathematics and any other three (3) subjects from the following: Physics, Chemistry, Economics, Statistics, Geography, Government, History, Further Mathematics, Biology, Agricultural Science, English Language, Woodwork, Typewriting, Principles of Accounts, Commerce, Business Methods, Social Studies, Technical Drawing, Basic Electronics, Basic Electricity and Auto Mechanic.

iii. National Diploma in Science Laboratory Technology

Applicants must possess credit passes in Mathematics and any other two (2) subjects from the following: Physics, Biology or Agricultural Science, Chemistry, and any One (1) subject from the following: Technical Drawing, Woodwork/Metalwork, English Language, Basic Electricity, Geography, Economics and Further Mathematics.

ii. Higher National Diploma in Statistics

ii. National Diploma in Multi Media Technology

Applicants must possess credit passes in English Language, Mathematics and two from the following: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Agric Science, Fine Arts/Technical Drawing and Social Sciences subjects.

iii. National Diploma in Library and Information Science

Applicants must possess credit passes in English Language, Mathematics and two from the following: History, Literature in English, Economics, Commerce, Fine Arts, Government, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Basic Electricity, Geography, Type writing and Principles of Account.

iv. National Diploma in Office Technology and Management

The four (4) credits passes must be obtained in Mathematics, English Language and any two from the following subjects: Commerce, Economics, Geography, Business Methods, Principles of Accounts, Statistics, Government, History, Biology, Literature in English, Religious Knowledge, Agricultural Science, Chemistry, Physics, Office Practice, Type writing and Shorthand.

Applicants must possess relevant National Diploma in the proposed course from the Osun State College of Technology, Esa

Oke or any recognized Polytechnic of equivalent status plus at least one year post-ND Industrial work experience. Applicants must possess a minimum of four (4) credit passes at not more than two sittings in requisite subjects in GCE ‘O’Level or SSCE of WAEC or SSCE of NECO or NTC of NABTEB.

i. Higher National Diploma in Computer Science

In addition to general entry requirements, applicants must possess credit passes in Mathematics, Physics and two (2) other subjects from the following: Chemistry, Statistics, Further Mathematics, Biology, Agricultural Science, Basic Electronics, Basic Electricity, Auto Mechanics, Metalwork, Woodwork, Economics, Geography and Technical Drawing.

In all cases, graduates of other institutions other than Osun State College of Technology, Esa Oke should ensure that their academic transcripts are forwarded by their various institutions early enough to The Registrar, Osun State College of Technology, Esa Oke.

Candidates are to apply online by first log in to CAPS @jamb.gov.ng and complete the procedure to apply for admission into OSCOTECH Esa – Oke and pay the application fee of N3,500 (Three thousand, five hundred naira only) to obtain JAMB registration number and then proceed to  www.oscotechesaoke.edu.ng to pay processing fee of N8500.00 (Eight Thousand Five Hundred Naira Only). Thereafter, click on Daily Part-Time (DPT) admission to complete the application processing. Payment can be made with scratch card from any of the under-listed banks or directly through College web-based transaction with an ATM card that is interswitch compatible.
