Here Is What Original WAEC Certificate Looks Like
Several people have asked us what WAEC certificate looks like. The more interesting part is messages from people abroad asking for WAEC certificate image. Perhaps someone has submitted a WAEC certificate to a school abroad and they want to verify what it actually looks like. Who knows?
In this case, what we usually recommend to people is to contact the West African Examination Council directly and ask them to verify the result of that person. It is not just enough to compare some images and judge the authenticity of a certificate based on looks.
Here Is What WAEC Original Certificate Looks Like!
For the sake of answering this question, this is a WAEC certificate image showing what the certificate looks like. A quick search on Google will even return a lot of results in Google Images.
As said earlier, looking at images of the certificate alone won’t be enough. Scanning quality may also make them look different. Until you touch the paper, check the prints on it and maybe even expose to Ultraviolet (UV) light to reveal some hidden information (not sure about this, I just feel it should be a security feature on a certificate as important as that).

I hope this answers your question!!!
Ah, you have made a mistake. You shouldn’t have exposed the certificate image as you did; all what you should have done would be to ask whoever is making the enquiry to forward their questions to WAEC (or they can see one from their relatives who has one)
