UNILAG Department of Chemical Engineering Name
This information goes out to all students, lecturers, members of of UNILAG community and the general public. The University of Lagos has changed the name of one of her departments with immediate effect. The information announced on the official website of the University is as follows.
UNILAG Senates Change Department of Chemical Engineering Name
The Senate of the University of Lagos (UNILAG) has approved the change of Department of Chemical Engineering name to Department of Chemical and Petroleum Engineering.
Therefore, all official matters concerning the Department of Chemical Engineering should be addressed as “Department of Chemical and Petroleum Engineering”.
The Faculty of Engineering of the University of Lagos was established in the 1964/65 academic year with three departments namely; Civil, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering.
