A 17-man new Board of Trustees has been appointed for the Igbajo Polytechnic in Osun State. Authorities of the school inaugurated members of the board last Thursday at Igbajo.
Chief Olajide Oyewole heads the board while Chief Moses Aboaba is his deputy. The secretary is Mr. Akin Rotimi while Mr. Gboyega Awomolo, (SAN), is also a member.
The visitor to the school and the Owa of Igbajoland, Oba Olufemi Fashade, commended the outgoing members of the BoT for their tenacity and dedication to duties.
He noted that the BoT had proved its worthiness by ensuring that the institution was able to commence its Higher National Diploma programme and its first graduates mobilised for the National Youth Service Corps programme this year.
He described the achievement of the institution, which is the first community polytechnic in the country, as ‘record breaking’.
