2013 Commonwealth Scholarships in South Africa

CSFP endowment fund offers Commonwealth Scholarships at Central University of Technology, Durban University of Technology, Tshwane University of Technology, University of Johannesburg, University of Pretoria and University of Stellenbosch in South Africa. Student must be citizens of any Commonwealth country except South Africa and must hold a first degree of upper second class Honors standard in relevant discipline. The scholarship is for one or two year Master’s degree programme. Applications should be sent online.

Study Subject(s): Scholarships are provided to study any subject offered by the universities, except for the Central University of Technology, where priority will be given to applicants in Tourism and/or Hospitality Management, Education, Biomedical Technology, Engineering and ICT.

Course Level: This scholarship is for pursuing one or two year Master’s degree programme.

Scholarship Open for Students of Following Countries: The students of Antigua and Barbuda, Australia, Bahamas, Bangladesh, Barbados, Belize, Botswana, Brunei, Cameroon, Canada, Cyprus, Dominica, Gambia, Ghana, Grenada, Guyana, India, Jamaica, Kenya, Kiribati, Lesotho, Malawi, Malaysia, Maldives, Malta, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, Nauru, New Zealand, Nigeria, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, Rwanda, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Samoa, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Singapore, Solomon Island, Sri Lanka, Swaziland, Tanzania, Tonga, Trinidad and Tobago, Tuvalu, Uganda, United Kingdom, Vanuatu, Zambia ,Cameroon except South Africa can apply for this scholarship.

Duration of award(s): Scholarships are offered for one or two-year Master’s degree programme.

How to Apply: Application form should be submitted to national nominating agencies in the first instance by post or electronically. Successful candidates will be required to complete an application form for the proposed university of study in addition to their scholarship application.

Scholarship Application Deadline: The deadline for Commonwealth international scholarship application is 30th June 2013.
