WAEC Withheld Results of 145,795 Candidates (2014 May/June)

West Africa Examination Council (WAEC) withheld results of 145,795 candidates who sat for the May/June 2014 exams. The results were withheld unde allegations of connection with several types of exam malpractices. Candidates who have their results withheld should however, not lose all hopes.

May/June 2014 WAEC Withheld Results Update

Head of National Office, WAEC, Mr. Charles Eguridu who disclosed that the results of 145,795 candidates, representing 8.61%, are being withheld in connection with various types of examination malpractice said, “The cases are being investigated and the reports of the investigations will be presented in November to the Nigeria Examinations Committee (NEC).”

Therefore, some will be free of this allegations and have their results released. Those that are eventually found out to have taken part in any examination malpractice will have their result withheld permanently. You can check the full statistics of the released result here!
