2015 Edinburgh Global Research Scholarships for international students

The 2015 Edinburgh Global Research Scholarships for international students is on and applications are still open. 

The University of Edinburgh, UK will offer 30 scholarships for PhD Research Programme in any subject offered by the University for the 2015-2016 academic session. The program applies to applicants willing to undergo PhD Research Programme in any field of study offered at the University.

Scholarship Value

Each award covers the difference between the tuition fee for a UK/EU graduate student and that chargeable to an overseas graduate student. The awards do not cover maintenance expenses. Subject to satisfactory progress, the awards are tenable for up to three years.

Eligibility

The awards are open to overseas students undertaking a research degree and may be held in any field of study. Applicants must be liable to pay tuition fees at the rate applicable to overseas students and must have already applied for admission to a full-time PhD research programme of study.

Application Procedure and Deadline

Applicant must have applied for  admission for an eligible programme of study at the University of Edinburgh before applying for the scholarship. All eligible applicants are advised to submit their applications early enough before the deadline date – 3rd February 2015. Successful applicants would receive their result letter by late April 2015.
