2015 Carbon Finance Director’s Masters Scholarship at University of Edinburgh Business School, UK

Applications are ongoing for the 2015 Carbon Finance Director’s Masters Scholarship at University of Edinburgh Business School, UK. University of Edinburgh Business School is offering Carbon Finance Director’s Scholarship for the year 2015. One Carbon Finance Director’s Scholarship with a value of £10,000 is available for a student on the MSc in Carbon Finance who is normally resident in any country in Africa or any least developed country. 

Scholarship Value

Scholarship of £10,000 value is available. The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of academic merit and the expected benefits to the student.

Notification: A selection committee will meet in May 2015 and the successful candidate will be informed soon afterwards.

Eligibility:

The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of academic merit and the expected benefits to the student. Candidates must have, or expect to obtain the international equivalent of a UK first class or 2:1 Honours degree at undergraduate level. 

To be considered for the scholarship, an applicant must already have been offered and accepted a place on the MSc in Carbon Finance. The scholarship will be put towards the applicants programme fee and does not provide any contribution to living costs.

Eligible countries

Students from any country in Africa or any least developed country around the world. The list of countries includes (but is not limited to) – Nigeria, Ghana, Afghanistan, Madagascar, Angola, Malawi, Bangladesh, Mali, Benin, Mauritania,Bhutan, Mozambique, Burkina Faso, Myanmar ,Burundi, Nepal, Cambodia, Niger, Central African Republic, Rwanda, Chad, Sao Tome and Principe, Comoros, Senegal, Dem. Rep of the Congo, Sierra Leone, Djibouti, Solomon Islands, Equatorial Guinea, Somalia, Eritrea, South Sudan, Ethiopia, Sudan, Gambia Timor-Leste, Guinea, Togo, Guinea-Bissau, Tuvalu, Haiti, Uganda, Kiribati, United Rep. of Tanzania, Lao People’s Dem. Republic Vanuatu, Lesotho, Yemen, Liberia and Zambia are eligible to apply for this scholarship.

Application Procedure and Deadline

Applicants should apply through the University Scholarships Application page . They will be asked as part of the application to submit a personal statement and any other information that would help us evaluate the application. The application deadline is 24 April 2015.
