2015-2016 Trinity College Dublin Dean’s Undergraduate Scholarship in Economics for Non-EU Students
Applications are ongoing for the 2015-2016 Trinity College Dublin Dean’s Undergraduate Scholarship in Economics for Non-EU Students. The 2015/2016 Dean’s Undergraduate Scholarship in Economics will be awarded to a new entrant to one of the following full-time undergraduate programmes in Trinity College Dublin: TSM Economics and Maths, Philosophy, Political Science, Economics and Sociology (PPES). The award is valued at €20,000, with €5,000 per annum being applied to tuition fees over the course of the four-year degree programme.
Scholarship Value
The award is valued at €20,000, with €5,000 per annum being applied to tuition fees over the course of the four-year degree programme. Scholarship is awarded for the duration of four years. To maintain the scholarship from year to year, the student must maintain a minimum overall grade of 2.1 and must continue with the study of economics throughout the four years.
Selection Criteria: Applications will be reviewed by a committee of senior members of the Department of Economics. The scholarship will be awarded on academic merit.
Notification: Shortlisted candidates may be called for a Skype interview.
Eligibility:
- • Non-EU applicants applying for 2015/2016 entry. This award may only be used for undergraduate study.
• To maintain the scholarship from year to year, the student must maintain a minimum overall grade of 2.1 and must continue with the study of economics throughout the four years.
International (non-EU) students can apply for this Deans scholarship.
Application Procedure and Deadline
Applicants must be send via email and should submit:
• 800-word statement on “Why I want to study Economics at Trinity” (in PDF format)
• One reference letter from a teacher or principal*

You are welcome to apply before you have received an offer of admission, however you will only be eligible to receive the scholarship if you receive an offer of admission from the College. The application deadline is 31 March, 2015.
